On 6 December 2023, EXCEL4MED participated in the “Current Trends in Food Science & Human Nutrition” event, held at the Hellenic Open University (HOU) in Patras (Greece).
This event was co-organised by our partner SEVT (Federation of Hellenic Food Industries), the Region of Western Greece and the Hellenic Technology Platform “Food for Life”, bringing together key players from academia, research, industry and the public sector to discuss the latest developments in the agri-food sector.
The event focused on the latest trends in food science, strategic priorities and emerging synergies that drive research and innovation in the agri-food sector.
Participants explored regional and national strategies shaping the future of food production, safety and human nutrition.
The discussions were structured into four key thematic sections:
- The Role of Agri-Food in Today’s Global Environment
