From 6-8 November 2023, EXCEL4MED was proudly represented at the 37th EFFoST International Conference in València (Spain).
Our project coordinator, Prof. Vasilis Valdramidis (National and Kapodistrian University of Athens), together with our partners Dr. George Katsaros and Marianna Giannoglou (ELGO-DIMITRA), joined international experts, researchers and innovators in exploring the future of sustainable food systems under the theme: “Sustainable Food and Industry 4.0: Towards the 2030 Agenda”.
A global stage for food innovation
Hosted by the University of València and the Institute of Agrochemistry and Food Technology (IATA-CSIC), the conference brought together leading minds from across the globe to showcase advanced technologies and the latest scientific breakthroughs in food science.
The event aligned closely with the European Green Deal and the Sustainable Development Goals, emphasising the need for innovation in the food sector to ensure access to safe, nutritious and sustainable food for all.
