On 14 May 2025, our partner the Federation of Hellenic Food Industries – SEVT hosted its Annual General Assembly in Athens (Greece), bringing together more than 160 key stakeholders from across the Greek food and beverage sector.
This high-level gathering offered an excellent opportunity for our partners at SEVT to showcase the goals and ongoing activities of the EXCEL4MED project.
Promoting EXCEL4MED in a strategic forum
Throughout the event, EXCEL4MED was prominently featured. A dedicated space was set up at the venue to display project materials, including printed leaflets and the official project banner, ensuring strong visual presence and visibility for attendees.
In her keynote address, SEVT’s Director General, Mrs. V. Papadimitriou, made specific reference to EXCEL4MED, highlighting our relevance in shaping a more sustainable and innovative future for Mediterranean food systems.
EXCEL4MED was further represented through the presence of one of our project’s key Greek partners, Eleni Alevritou, Vice President at EKPIZO.
EKPIZO’s participation reinforced the importance of consumer engagement and civil society in the transformation of Mediterranean food supply chains.
SEVT’s Annual General Assembly provided a valuable opportunity to promote the objectives of EXCEL4MED, raise awareness about our progress, and engage with food industry professionals who play a central role in driving forward the transition to more resilient and circular food systems in the region.
We thank SEVT for the opportunity to participate in such a prestigious event, and for their continued support in disseminating the work and vision of EXCEL4MED!
