From 17 to 19 March 2023, EXCEL4MED was presented at the 5th VERDE.TEC Forum—one of the most prominent international exhibitions for environmental technologies and sustainable development in Greece.

Thanos Karvounis, Innovation Grant Application Expert at Smart Agro Hub, participated in the panel “21st Century Agriculture in Greece: Precision Agriculture, Digitisation & Green Sustainability”, organised by the Agricultural University of Athens. His intervention focused on Smart Agro Hub’s role in the digital transition of Greek agriculture and emphasised EXCEL4MED’s contribution to:

  • Advancing smart farming solutions

  • Supporting sustainable food systems and circular economy approaches

  • Promoting digital transformation and innovation in Mediterranean agri-food chains

The forum attracted over 200 speakers and multiple institutions, offering EXCEL4MED valuable exposure among researchers, policymakers, and technology developers.
