EXCEL4MED participated in the 13th International Conference on Predictive Modelling in Food, held from 1-3 September 2025 in Athens, Greece.

Our partner SEVT – Federation of Hellenic Food Industries was represented by Eirini Xaxiri, who presented the project’s innovative approaches to extracting bioactive compounds and improving food quality through experimental trials.

Her presentation highlighted EXCEL4MED’s vision, the challenges it addresses, and the use of green processing technologies to reduce waste and create functional foods like enriched yogurt and feta cheese.
