EXCEL4MED participated in the “Food for Thought: A Human Library Experience” event, hosted in St. Paul’s Bay (Malta) on 30-31 January 2025, as part of San Anton School’s Community Engagement Programme.

This inspiring initiative brought together experts from various sectors of the food industry to engage students in discussions on sustainability, food waste and innovation.

As part of this event, our partner Diana Miceli from Koperattivi Malta introduced Junior Sector students to the concept of food waste conversion into sustainable products.

Through an interactive session, students explored how discarded food can be repurposed to create valuable products, contributing to a more sustainable food system.
