On 9 May 2023, EXCEL4MED was featured at the international conference “Energy Efficiency and Renewables in Buildings: opportunities, challenges and future perspectives between Malta and Germany”, held in Valletta. The event was organised by The Malta Chamber in collaboration with AHK Italien and supported by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate Action under the German Energy Solutions Initiative.

Bringing together Maltese and German experts, institutions and business leaders, the conference explored opportunities for advancing energy efficiency and renewable energy across sectors.

During the event, EXCEL4MED was presented as an example of green innovation in Mediterranean food systems, contributing to the broader conversation on sustainable development.
